True Grit 2010; everyone's accent sounded like Billy Bob Thorton in Slingblade.

The Quick and the Dead. Not really into westerns, but Gene Hackman and Russell Crowe are great, as is Sharon Stone.

The King's Speech. Just saw it today. It was really excellent! Such a good story and good acting. And I was really surprised by how funny it was -- just some really humorous and clever lines. I ACHED for Albert during the stammering episodes...so painful. And I thrilled with him in his triumphs. I admit that I was crying at the end of the movie. So good.

Also, my first introduction to actor Colin Firth was in A&E's version of Pride and Prejudice. In that movie, he starred opposite Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennett, and I was thrilled to see her in this movie as well!! And during another scene, I recognized the actor who played Mr. Collins in P&P.

The Pledge, starring Jack Nicholson, directed by Sean Penn, never heard of it before (made in 2001). Cameos by a dozen or more well known's. Not a bad movie until the end.

Honeymoon in Vegas with Nicolas Cage, James Caan and Sarah Jessica Parker. A cute funny movie from the early 90s and I loved the Flying Elvises and the soundtrack was great if you're an Elvis fan.
