The last one I went to was around 89 or 90. It was in North Boulder. I don't remember what movie was playing.

cant remember the movie, but the drive in was Hull's Drive In on Rt. 11 just north of Lexington, VA in the late 90s or early 00s.

I currently live near another drive in that's had its ups and downs but these days is doing healthy business: 66 Drive-In ROCKS. It first opened in 1949.

Nice photos of the 66 Drive In: http://neatocoolville.blogspot.com/2...rthage-mo.html

Favorite drive in that you might have seen in a drive in: the one Joe Buck as a little boy plays in, alone, in Midnight Cowboy. (Was it in the daytime?)

Mama Mia !! In Door County Wisc. I surprised my husband for our anniversary ( we have been married One Million Years in Oct) and took him to a Drive in Movie as that seemed to be the only place he took me when I was young(er) and Hot(er).
i brought a lovely picnic and a good bottle of chilled Pinot Grigio.
I never made it past the opening credits..not because he was so rico suave
but because we both fell asleep;ahhhh the joys of marriage.

Risky Business/Vision Quest in 1984. All the drive ins that used to be in this area have long since closed up.

About five years ago... Grown Ups and Toy Story3.

I love DI Theaters, but this one in Beaufort, SC was very flawed...

There were no ramps to park on, just flat ground, and the operators allowed suvs, trucks and vans to park anywhere - of course many parked up front blocking much of the view.

I wish they could be brought back and only cars permitted, but that won't fly.
