I just came back from A Nightmare on Elm Street. I was a big fan of the original series and I think it might have lessen my enjoyment of the newer due to comparing it constantly. Part of the problem was the director copied a lot of shots from the original. A homage is fine but he just basically copied a lot of shots so there wasn't too much new to it.

One thing I did like:

Spoiler
In the trailers and in the movie they made it seem like Freddy was innocent. But they cleared it all up at the end! He was still guilty as hell of being a kid toucher!

Sex & The City II - the right movie for a night out with the girls. I just couldn't decide which pair of shoes was my favourite!

The A-Team, which I thought was pretty good. Lots of action, hilarious dialogue, etc. And I think this cast was a pretty good reincarnation of the old A-Team.

'Solitary Man', starring Oscar winners Michael Douglas & Susan Sarandon, as well as the always solid Danny Devito, and a stunning performance bristling with rage and intensity by the recently married Jenna Fischer, better known as 'Pam' from 'The Office'.

The Last Airbender. I wasn't too impressed with it though.

Toy Story 3

Good and enjoyable, but a little draggy in the middle. And the ending was almost too traumatic for me. Sheesh!!! On the other hand...Andy's mom raised a good kid!
