Just saw "Avatar".

Glad we saw it in the theater. The CGI gave me vertigo. That's a good thing.

"Where the Wild things are" , visually ravishing but didn't particularly enjoy the story . I had never read the book as a kid but the moral of the story escaped me completely. Behave like a little brat, bite your mother, and end up with chocolate cake and not even having to apologise. Not my kind of parenting I suppose.

I think I must have missed something... It did look quite beautiful though, quite magical and the acting was superb. My husband was just as baffled as I was so at least I was in good company !

The last movie I saw in a theatre was Forest Gump.

I can easily live my life without going into another movie theatre. I'd rather watch movies in the comfort of my home.

The Lovely bones.. had the potential to be something great, ended up being mediocre. Very sad, and stays close to the book version. Actors were great, but the Susan Sarandon bit seemed to feel a bit forced. Glad to catch a prescreening though

"No Country For Old Men." What an excellent, intense, perfect movie! The best I've seen in several years. Javier Bardem's portrayal of Anton Chigur is one for the ages.

New Moon - The wife really loves the books. I quite liked it, but thought it was a tad long in the middle.
