Isn't that why he put "literally" next to sleeper- to let people know he slept through the movie.
Slickrick, I wanna know how was Woody Harrilson role good, but he said less than 50 words in the movie?
That was my point, he should have had more camera time. I think his character was oozing with humility, patience and kindness. I think all of them who werent' getting it, should have had more camera time. I thought it emphasized his love interest with Rosario Dawson to much. It felt to much like a love story, rather than extending the idea of the original premise.
The movie was a sleeper (literally).I want my money back. I actually thought it was sort of boring and dragged out. Character development was poor besides Will and Rosario Dawson. They emphasized his relationship with Rosario to much, and it took away from the other
btw... genius (slickrick). A sleeper... when describing a movie, is a good thing. It is a movie that is not heavily promoted but usually by word of mouth ends up with big #'s at the box office. So if your going to trash a movie at least show some knowledge of the review language, people will take your opinion more seriously.
I won't sit here and insult you, since I realize that pun went very far over your head. However, we all have differences in opinions. I might like chocolate, you vanilla, someone else strawberry. That's what makes us unigue. If we all felt the same way about everything, then I think we would be a very boring race. In the long run though, it is just my opinion. Having said that, if my opinion on a movie bothers you that much, perhaps in the future you might want to avoid anything in which might go against your own opinion. This might help to keep you calm, more enjoyable and less antagonistic towards the rest of us.
I saw it last night and loved it. It was very moving, as far as I'm concerned. Giving back generously what he carelessly took away. To me it is a must see.
I look at who has responded and besides me and maybe one other (maybe noid) they are all girls. So I am not surprised by the results thus far. It is no surprise most girls on here are going to love it because it was a love story, and lets face it, women love Love stories. However, I am a guy and I did not think that I was paying to see a love story, therefore I was not impressed. I will add, I did say most girls. I say that because my girlfriend didn't like it either. She fell asleep twice during it..So please dont think I am speaking for all women, girls, etc. I am not. I thought it was lame and kept looking at my watch hoping it would end. Like I said in previous posts, not enough character time for the other actors in the film.
I just saw it and I looooved it. I agree about it being his best role to date. I sobbed like baby at the end. My husband went to see it, and while he agreed that it was good, he was also not thrilled that it wasn't one of Will''s action movies.
We went to dinner after and we were wondering - although he was being altruistic, would he have been so quick to make the amends if his fiance hadn't died? What was he giving the @ss hole at the retirement home? I couldn't figure that out. Money?

what did he need a six month extension on bone marrow for??
He needed an extension on his taxes; remember Will was portraying an IRS worker.
