Happy holidays!

Just curious what people's thoughts are on the Karate Kid franchise, be it the movies or the Kobra Kai series.

And curious what martial artists might think of the teaching styles (Miyagi-Do and Kobra Kai)...

I have been in martial arts most of my life. I have studies Tae Kwon Do for the last 27 years, and teaching for the last 20.

Last night I was watching the Karate Kid 3. It is so cheesy, it's enjoyable to watch!!

In any event, I thought Daniel-San, truthfully, improved as a martial artist, via the intense training/ different approach to martial arts that Terry Silver taught him!

For example, he reminds Daniel-San to remember to keep his hands up, to use his hips to generate kicking power, etc.

What are your thoughts???

Thank you.

I dunno. I am ambivalent. Sometimes I wax on, sometimes I wax off.

I do notice that many of the football players now adopt the KK pose after making a touchdown. Silly.
