A movie is entertainment on a screen over there, to you. Nothing wrong with that but among other things you can't quite seem to distinguish between your not liking a movie and being able to judge whether it's any good overall.
I'm convinced that these remakes come out every once in a while because people want to use new special effects.
... which is always funny to me because of the stories like that of Jaws, which was scarier because the special effects didn't work the way Spielberg intended, and he had to show the mechanical shark less, which added suspense and tension and made things MORE ... uncertain and spooky.
They already ruined the 1973 movie's director's cut in the Hypnosis scene, release in early 2000s, where her face changes just before she grabs the doctor. It's very cheap looking CGI.
It's like a comedian said in the 1980's that he heard that Ted Turner wanted to colorize the the beginning and ending scenes of the Wizard of Oz.
Not sure what you mean. It's a fabulous piece of... pre techno from the great era of "Hey, look what I can do with my synthesizer, Mr. Moog!"
My point was that the tune and the movie are almost synonymous, or were at the time, but the film only uses the briefest passage - possibly less than Joker used of "Rock & Roll Part 2" - another pairing that is probably universal among both those who saw the movie and those who only saw a few trailers.
Oh yeah... great music for sure. A masterpiece in that he played like... 28 (?) different instruments and overlaid them to create the music. But, any time I hear tubular bells anymore I can only think of... does your head spin, baby?? .... so, therefore, I couldn't listen to it much after that movie.
