I used to avoid this genre because while my fav genre is mystery/suspense/thriller with minimal gore, gallo is chock full of them but lately I've bit the bullet (having run out of things to stream) and decided to watch "Deep Red". I was hooked! I just past by the the gory stuff and watched the rest and it was brilliant.
I've since watched Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Psycho (Sette Note in Nero) & What Have You Done to Solange. (I liked the first two, the last not so much but at least it wasn't horrible). The next movie on my list is Cat o' Nine Tails.
Any giallo fans out there? Any recs?
I don't like gore for gore sake but if the movie is otherwise high in mystery/suspense, I'll tolerate it (or just turn my head).
