Thank god. I avoid "average" Sandler films like the plague.

I watched this film last night...it was indeed "anxiety inducing" as one reviewer called it. Sandler was totally believable.

It seems several loose ends were never cleared up. Flawless' Michael Jackson necklace, the Jews that accosted him on the street about the fake watches. I guess those are minor points that didn't require wrapping up?

Plus, was Julia in on it or did she just arrive at the shop with a bag of cash to horrors?

I loved it my wife didn’t and I think it’s for the very reason you pointed out she has trouble keeping up with movies or TV like this one.

I watched it. I liked but then again, I like movies about gambling.

The main character is one of the biggest losers I can ever remember on film. He has every chance to settle things, but just keeps screwing himself over.

But decent flick...

As the guy said in the movie Ladykillers... "it's literature."
