Very few movies really require the huge screen. My TV at home is plenty big enough for most movies and the DVD comes out pretty soon after a movie is released.
If I wait to see it at home I don't have to put up with all the rude movie goers talking, using their cell phone, behaving like they are sitting in their own living room wearing pajamas with no one there but themselves.
Actually, the only movie I can think of that really needed the huge theater screen was the opening credits of the original star wars movie.
Many of the movie theaters are no longer offering the gigantic movie screen. They've cut the building up into small theaters with much smaller screens.
1. Joker, ( last night)
2. Peanut Butter Falcon
3. Easy Rider ( 50th anniversary, special screening )
4. Cold Pursuit
5. A Star is Born
6. Bohemian Rhapsody
I enjoyed them all.
