9/11 (numerous SHORT FILMS - an independent film released 2001/ 2002) This is the fastest link that came up.
Also a number of other films at a film fest I can't remember any like this: https://www.theguardian.com/film/2002/dec/13/arts features
Amores Perros - 2000
The Thomas Crown Affair - on a date (not a movie I would normally go to) 1999
Twister, 1996
Independence Day, 1996
Starship Troopers, 1997
Armageddon, 1998
Something about Mary, 1998
Star Wars Phantom Menace, 1999
I will point out that the rise in cellphones and decline in my movie going are related. I grew sick of the behavior of the audience, of the insanely loud audio (to override the rudeness of said crowds), the insulting prices and of the bombardment of ads prior to the movie. I haven't been to one this millennia, and have no plans to ever return. I have flat screen TVs in my home, my cabin cruiser, and my RV. All provide a better experience than a theatre. When the theatres control and eject those who distract, turn down the volume, reduce the ads, and provide refreshments at reasonable prices, I will return. And we all know what will freeze over before then.
The Amazing Spiderman
Dark Knight Rises
Scream 4
Wow I only saw 3 movies in theaters in 2010s.
Halloween 2007(I was working at a movie theater at the time so this one was on the house)
Spiderman 3
Casino Royale
We don't go more than 2 movies a year so I couldn't be sure of the last 6 but the last one was "The Favourite" on Christmas Day....both my wife and I were hugely disappointed.

I like all of his movies, and gave this one a 9/10.
11/3/2013 Enders Game
6/12/2014 Edge of Tomorrow
7/18/2015 Jurassic World
10/6/2015 The Martian
1/23/2016 Star Wars: The ForceAwakens
11/15/2016 Arrival
Some movies, I think, just need a big screen so I tend to see those at the theater.

Same here. The ending was a total WTF.
