Which tape of both Sinister films is your favourite? The tapes document the chilling murders of entire families, and what makes them so disturbing is that they feel so very real. They’re all permanently etched into my brain, and I sometimes wish they’d leave.

I would say that my favourite tape is "Christmas Morning" from Sinister 2:

The creepiest Christmas short ever made. The video starts off rather festive with a family celebrating Christmas morning by their beautiful tree, but then, well, takes a turn for the… sinister. I really like the way the mother’s eyes move. But my favourite feature is the music: sad, emotional and spooky. The strong contrast between the day and night well shaped by the music, harder at night and with such devastating bells, one of them coinciding with the mother's eyes movement.

I have to say that I was not a HUGE fan of these movies. I think the first one was better than the second one. I thought the films in the first movie were done well and definitely scared me. I guess out of all the films the one that scared me the most was the pool one. Still not a fan of these movies as I feel they were missing something.

First one was good though it suffered from the numerous cliches that are routine in horror now. It was filmed well enough to produce a few scares. The skeleton like face actually reduced the impact. It was too Skeletor or Halloween mask like. No face or a Hills have Eyes twisted mutant face would have been more scary.
