There's only one Joker movie, the one starring Joaquin Phoenix. Suicide Squad was not a "Joker movie."
I wasn't referencing Suicide Squad as the other Joker movie. I mentioned Suicide Squad because I felt the trailers were misleading to me, and instead of the squad taking on Joker, they battled some ridiculous 'demon.' But as a teaser, I really liked Leto's brief moments as the Joker and that is why I look forward to his upcoming movie.
Anyone see the Mysterio pictures from the set of the Spiderman movie?
Yeah. Blerg. I have always thought Mysterio was by far the worst Spidey villain. And that includes a list comprised of The Spot and Kangaroo. Mysterio is a thoroughly ridiculous character. The only one that could have possibly been worse is Big Wheel.
Or maybe the movie is better than they were hoping? The trailer listed a release date in February. February is traditionally the month where studios push out stuff they don't care about, along with a few romantic comedies for Valentine's Day. It is mostly considered the movie Dead Zone. (Something very telling about BIRDS OF PREY's release date by the way.)
Black Panther and Deadpool opened in February and they both made history at the box office. Birds of Prey will be fine.
