I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Not to eat meat, that is the law. Are we not men?

I like Tremors. That's a fun sci fi horror monster movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. I have a good time watching it.

2001

It's my favorite movie of any kind. I've probably watched it more than a dozen times, more likely 2 dozen... I always see/realize something new with each viewing.

It's only quite recently that lay people have started discussing seriously the future "war against the machines" based on current super fast self-correcting computer software now connected worldwide through the net to all utilities & weapon systems. How much longer will it take before the networks realize that the human elements are introducing errors & illogic into their systems & eliminate that input & then eliminate the cause as they continue to improve themselves? Perhaps the survivors of humanity will have to be in unconnected North Korea if we can't outfox "HAL".

Will always watch Close Encounters if I catch it on TV. I channel-surf, find it, and a collective groan goes up in my family. "Oh no. Not again."
