They were both OK, but I liked "The Omega Man" better than either of them.

Even though the "I am Legend" remake strayed quite a bit from the book, I thought it was a very entertaining movie. As you are watching it you have to sort of put yourself in his place and think about how you would feel and or do in that situation.

WWZ, again was drastically different than the book but was done very well. Again very entertaining.

It would be tough to decide which is better.

I enjoyed 'Legend' and thought it was better than "the Omega Man."

But just a few minutes ago, the original "the Last Man on Earth" started on local tv.

This one stars Vincent Price and the baddies are slow moving vampires who actually talk and think. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

To throw in another movie in a similar genre, I like the 2011 "Priest" movie with wild west + vampires

I am legend's CGI creatures looked silly in some scenes in an otherwise good film. WWZ had some good action and effects looked better but was an average film.

I liked Vincent Prices version, Stuck closest to the book in regards to I am legend.

Look for the film adaption of Stephen King's Cell in the near future. I am curious how they will do on this one. The book was awesome.
