Looks like ol' Rusty nail is coming back.

Rusty Nails Returns As 'Joy Ride 3' Is Officially Announced -

The first one was great, The second was pretty bad, As his character went from a complex, cunning villain to more of a wisecracking thug. Hopefully the third time's a charm, As Rusty crosses paths with some street racers. Always liked this film series.

Saw it, Was an ok horror thriller on it's own and had a few good moments but lacked the character development-Esp of Rusty Nail who in the first film was a mysterious, sinister person hiding in the shadows. Part 2 He was more of a Thug type but still he was a bit creepy and the characters were decent. Part 3 he's just another typical sadistic movie baddie chasing people down over a relativity benign reason and he looked and sounded nothing like the previous two. They should NOT make a part 4 that's for sure.

I think a bigger budget, and one of the two last actors playing Rusty should have returned picking up from part 2. A look into Rusty's history would have been good also to tie things up.

Sadly Paul Walker was one of the actors.

I have Joy Ride on DVD and I really enjoyed it. I even go back periodically to listen to the commentary of the movie from Steve Zahn and Leelee Sobieski.
