Kick-Ass 2 rakes in dissapointing Opening Weekend Numbers | World of Superheroes

I certainly thought it would do great with all the fanfare.....But when you think about it......kids drive the most dollars. And with all the cussing and ultra violence in this film, I think they shot themselves in foot! No pun intended,,,,

It might actually be a good movie.....but parents aint taking the family to this...and that losing dollars.

Thoughts??

I still haven't been able to work up enough enthusiasm to watch the first one.

I don't just give my hard earn money away like it's nothing. I have certain standards that must be met before I spend my money. I can honestly say that in the last 20 yrs, I've gone to the movie theater less than 20 times. The majority of my movie experience is either rentals or free on tv.

I enjoy the first one but it was listed on netflix and I have netflix for dirt cheap. With that said, I'll wait for it to be netflix or redbox. These type of movies are not really worth my money alone....if its there, I'll watch it....I'm not going to go giving my hard earn money away to go see it.

I don't blame him honestly. This movie is really violent. It's like they were violent just to be violent and then they try to make it seem cool.

Welcome to Mark Millar.

A good writer in many respects, but the man is unable to differentiate between violence and gratuitous violence.

At the end of the day, I guess some folks just don't get it......Millar jumped the shark on this one.

Saw it and enjoyed it. Lots of action with some cute lines and some gratuitous violence thrown in. Just like the first one. I believe it had a Rotten tomatoe audience score of 79 and the Tomato index of 29 at the time. I'll go with the Audience score.
