I'll do another go-round:
Rififi
Topkapi
Kwaidan
Rashomon
Small Change
The Tin Drum
Day for Night
The Iron Rose
The 400 Blows
Seven Samurai
Nosferatu (1922)
Metropolis (1927)
The Bridge (1959)
Children of Paradise
The Wild Child (1970)
Brotherhood of the Wolf
The Garden of the Finzi-Continis
Journey to the Beginning of Time
Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears

One of the creepiest films I've seen is "Blind Beast". I can't say it's one I'd hurry to watch again, but his studio is a remarrkable set, very surrealistic. I admit that I was cowardly enough to mute the sound at certain points. Maybe this wouldn't be as harrowing to others, especially those who watch "Saw", "Hostel" and other such films. To me... *shudderrrrr*

Hey OP, I've seen every Korean movie in your list, and you seem to have good taste. Korean thrillers/action movies are my favorite genre right now.

If you liked Old Boy, you will LOVE "I Saw the Devil." It stars the good guy from Old Boy, and he plays a psycho murder bad guy.

Wings of Desire still tops my list. Something about it just really appeals to me. And not just Peter Falk.

There are lots of great foreign films out there and in some cases they are so good that Hollywood couldn't produce them.
I agree with many listed here. What I like about foreign films such as "Amelie" is they portray the life of a average people who see life and the world around them a little different. You don't need to be shooting at alien invaders or go over the top with crazy visual effects to have a good movie.
I recently watched a movie called "Troll Hunter" that really surprised me. I don't remember the country of origin but it was good.
Asian movies are their own nitch. Korea seems to do horror very well and China has such a rich history they can go back into their own time and pull stories full of heroes and stunning scenery at will. Check out "Hero" which is amazing.
