so, i watched this movie probably 6 or 7 years ago (possibly on sci fi or chiller)and really want to see it again so here goes. well, its about a truck ( i believe it was a dumptruck. but dont hold me to that) and a car racing to cross a one lane bridge and the truck forces the car off of the bridge and into the water below. and on the day/night of the crash the ghost of the car/driver picks up people (hitchhikers?)then (possibly makes the person drive) and is forced to repeat this endeavor until the ghost car crosses the bridge first. i hope you guys can give me a hand, this has been bugging me for years.

I saw something like that a while back. It was an old movie, I think. the one I saw, they kept going back to a point in time (?) that played out with different scenarios. It was out west and there was a young boy in it and something violent happened at a gas station..... I just remember snatches. It was very interesting.

Sorry I cannot be of help. But that movie sounds like a real stinker to me. But hey, to each his own.
I thought the premise of the movie sounded very interesting, though I don't know how to help him to find the name.
