I recently re-watched "A Fish Called Wanda" and it didn't seem so funny any more. I loved it when it came out and for some years after - maybe I've changed?
Too many to note, but for now, the most recent I have seen, which I found hilarious. Be careful though, it probably is not everyone's humor. I thought it was outrageous and completely hilarious and watched it a few times thru. One of Will Ferrells' best, in my opinion.

Best in Show for sure.
I had heard so many people rave about that film and finally saw a rebroadcast on PBS a few months ago. Of course, I was terribly disappointed.
I get the feeling that it was a very funny movie when it first came out, for the time period in which it came out and in which people first saw it.

Same here. I remember how funny the movie was when I first watched it. Then I re-watched it again recently on TV and didn't find it funny anymore.
I think some movies simply don't stand the test of time.
Now, My Cousin Vinny is one of those movies that I just HAVE to watch whenever I come across it on TV. I lost count how many times I've watched it and the movie always makes me laugh.
I really appreciate all of these suggestions. I know everybody's going to think I'm absolutely nuts, but I really don't enjoy Mel Brooks all that much, and I didn't like A Fish Called Wanda. Some of the other suggestions, though, I'm going to rent.
Meet the Parents is good. When I first saw it I wasn't impressed, but it got funnier and funnier after repeated viewings.
I loved both "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers." To me, they were both very funny movies.
