I just found this playing on HBO. Its an old movie from 1985 but I remember really liking it.
And now that I've found it playing on cable I just realized - I haven't seen in on the cable rerun/syndication circuit. Odd.

I don't know why not but if you have HBO its worth a look. Now I'm not saying its GREAT its got a 5.9 on IMBD but I am enjoying it.

There are a lot of old films you don't see on cable, particularly old ones based on Stephen King stories/books. They won't show something unless they are reasonably sure at least a few people will watch. Plus, HBO may be the only company that holds the rights to it.

Movie connection trivia: Gary Busey was the villain in Under Siege and Everett McGill was the villain in Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. They were enemies in Silver Bullet.

Silver Bullet is sooo dumb and sooooo awesome. What other movie could you see a kid in a rocket-powered wheelchair fighting Reverend Werewolf?

Haven't seen The Silver Bullet, but I did find one dvd on my shelf I didn't know I had - from a SK story - Riding the Bullet..........I think this was a book that was only available on e-book which is why I never read it.

Strange movie.

Love Silver Bullet, very underrated. Man when that David-Bryne looking priest turns around with that eyepatch, woah! Outstanding flick.

Awesome movie.

It's hilarious that he is allowed to ride around on what is essentially a motorcycle just because they call it a wheelchair.

Gary Busey was funny as hell.

Gary Busey and Corey Haim in a film inspired by the master King...it just don't get any better than that!
