A good point, although my riding season is normally year round, due to a lot of stuff last year I didn't ride near as much as normal, then we had a wet winter and I had shoulder surgery, so the point is I went for a 400 mile ride yesterday after a year of very little riding and I could tell my riding skills were rusty and by the end of the day I was beat up

Thought this thread was more about, "Hey, riding season's started.. keep your eyes and wits focused and have fun!"

My bad.
Hey I thought I was going to die last week on a camping trip when I couldn't get my brother in-law to shut up, oh can that guy talk about nothing

I became interested in getting a headlight flasher recently but after a bit of research I found out that not all flashers sold are in compliance with DOT regulations: Headlight modulator regulations and laws for motorcycles

Is yours? If so, where did you get it and how much was it please?

They sell (legal versions) them and have prices at the website you linked to.

Well...I obviously knew about that since I put the link but I was asking for alternative products since their prices seemed a bit too much.

Anyhow, I continued by search and found the following two that were priced really reasonable and received positive reviews:

Headlight Modulator: Motorcycle Headlight Modulator by Bike Index.

Headlight Xenon HID Conversion kits: StarRotors.com - Headlight Bulbs/LEDs

For riders in or around UK: BikeVis | Unique lighting products for your Motorcycle

If anyone have found a better product which is also less expensive let me know please.

Mine has a light sensor, so that it doesnt work at night.

As to how many cycles per minute...I have no idea. If a cop can figure out how many cycles per minute my modulator is running, then just give me the ticket. He has certainly earned it. LOL

BTW, I am not sure which brand I am using. I got it a while ago, and there is no name on the unit.
