Hi, I'm think about buying a 2003 Burgman Scooter 650. I like the way the mirrors are placed on it. Here is the picture and Suzuki's website.

I think I will buy a used one over a new scooter.

Thanks, Bob

The Burgman 650 is an awesome machine and the 400 is really nice too.I've put more than a few miles on both and you can't go wrong with either one.BTW, I've started a scooter riders group on here to discuss scooter related topics,ALL are welcome.

Hi John,

I had the Bergman 400 and it was AWESOME!!!! Would have bought the 650 but alas, I am too short to ride it. One of my friends had the 650 and said he liked it better than the motorcycle he had. I think you'd be pretty happy with either.

Hi, My local KTM dealer is selling a used 2006 Suzuki Bergman 650 for 6500.00 with 6500 miles on it. Wondering if this is a good price? Have you been on the Bergman website below?

Thanks, John

NO!!!!! It's high as the trees.....This past SUMMER my uncle picked up an '07 pearl white with around 2,700 miles on it with an aftermarket vented windshield and backrest for $5,700.00 (and he has a '07 400 with tons of aftermarket options for sale for 4,200.00 with 12xxx miles and can't even get an offer on it).....If it's slick offer them between 4000 to 5000 for it and they should rip your hand off taking the money. If you end up with one, I'll bet you're gonna LOVE it.

I did own a 2005 Yamaha 400cc Majesty and but didn't like the style and also don't like the mirrors on it. And another thing is the gray color problem with the scooter blending in with the environment. People didn't see me sometimes.

John

I've alway thought the gray scale colors on scooters were crazy....look at the Silverwings....most years they came in a grey tone only....the same with the early Burgmans....I never could understand that.

Have you been checking ebay ???? Watch the actual bids, they are going to get even cheaper over the next couple of months I'll bet.

I have a Honda Helix~250 and just love it. I'm short and the seat is 25 1/2. I put 7th on it this summer. This is my second one and I've had this one three years. I want to move up to a Silverwing or a Piaggio 400 but the seats are just too high. I have good high boots which help but if I move up I will have to have the seat cut down. Now that I am enjoying long day trips and want to do some more overnights I would like something a little bigger.
It's my outlet in life and I just love riding.

Speaking of the color. When I bought this last scooter three years ago I bought a floor model since it was that bright yellow and they had two they couldn't sell. But I decided you could pick it out across the room. The color is so easily seen I really think it is safer. I call the bike the "canary" and I have a sign I leave for my husband that says~ The canary and I are flying"
