Want to ship a motorcyle to Europe and back (Harley, rental, bike)

Can anyone recommend a service?


I shipped a bike over in 2004, but for the life of me, cannot remember which broker I used.

From/to where do you want to ship it? I seem to recall someone telling me in the past that Lufthansa had a service which placed you and the bike on the same flight. And did you do a search for something 'motorcycle shipment US-Europe-US? You'll get a number of hits and perhaps one will jog your memory.

Shipping two ways costs more time and heartache than it's worth.

Harley has rental programs in Europe if you're into Hogs. BMW also has a full line of motorcycles that can be rented.

I just remember sleepless Saturday nights in Paris when all the 1000 cc rice rockets come out to race from stop light to stop light. They certainly make sleeping in the city difficult.
