Is this 2014 Harley-Davidson XL1200C - Sportster 1200 Custom a good motorcycle?

My stepson had a Sportster, and I rode it once. I was used to a GS1100 Suzuki which at 140 hp was quite a rocket.

I found the Harley to be much heavier on one side than the other. It was extremely rough riding, and the vibrations were difficult to live with. The gearbox was not the silk gear changes my Suzuki had.

If you go Harley, look fo a Dynaglide or Fat Boy or more substantial machine. I'm just not a fan of them.

‘05 and up have engine insulation to remediate the vibrations. They’re a lot different from an 1100 Suzuki. I really had a good time on my Nightster, but if you aren’t into the Harley thing, it’ll be pretty harsh.
