Harley-Davidson saddlebag comparability (custom, bike, ABS, street)

Is it possible to mount 2011 Dyna saddle bags to an 08 Night Train? Harley offers a "conversion kit" but it says nothing about compatbility on anything other than older Dyna's. Please help out, my bike's in the shop because an old man felt he didn't need to look before turning onto a busy Atlanta street. I have asked my local H-D shop, J&P, all my friends to no avail. ANY help/advice will be most appreciated. Thank you!

Not sure, but I don't think they will work well. Different frame and rear fender styles. Supprised your dealer can not give you the answer.

Yeah...if an H-D dealer and J&P couldn't tell you, then one of us knowing is pretty slim.

I would try a dedicated H-D forum.
