I have a loan in process with Bank of America. I was suppose to close on the 15th, and now we're shooting for the 29th, two weeks after my supposed closing date. I even gave them the full 45 days. It's ridiculous, on one hand, its good that the underwriter is looking into everything (to the point where it's annoying), but at the same time....aren't the 45 days suppose to be enough for them? Days before my original closing date, they were asking me for my W-2s, and I'm like "I gave you this info a month ago."
But OP, you sound like a good loan candidate...I wouldn't be too worried.
Still waiting on the document to be furnished to my lender. They promised it by COB today, so I will find out tomorrow if they received it. My new close date is this Wednesday. :/
