Hi-
I have a son going to school at WVU in the fall and I am looking for possible apartment, cabin or house rentals in Morgantown for weekends. We always do the hotel thing for football games. But we would like to have a little more room since we bring the whole family. Does anyone know of any place?
Not just for weekends...unless you want to pony up the money for full monthly rental. The only alternative is likely the Residence Inn...the only "extended stay" type of hotel in the area.
Consider buying or renting a mobile home for him...In the long and the short run, it will save you thousands..
Some of the posters have done this while going to school at WVU and its always been a winner.
They are fantastic people that own this. Several marvelous cabins. The website is very user friendly, and you can check availability right online. They also run a cougar sanctuary on the property. It is worth a peek.

Try Dorsey's knob - they have a rental home there that is spectacular. Our friends rented it for the weekend of their wedding for the entire wedding party. I think it was about $500 for the weekend. It is just off interstate 68. BTW - we are selling out condo at Suncrest Village if you know anyone in Charleston intersted - my thread is listed as Morgantown WV: Suncrest Village Luxury Condo.
