So we had 1 million college students ride the PRT? OK
and 250,000 have ridden the Grey Line in 3 yrs..

Cooking the books but it still looks good. If we included ambulatory to and from the PRT, that would have added 2 million stats to the count...

David, sometimes your posts are quite lucid, and sometimes they just don't make any sense. Have you thought about asking the doctor to adjust the meds?

I dont know about local transportation but transportation as a whole in WV is the biggest joke on the east coast, thanks to the nuckleheads in charleston. If they just used money on roads we could take this state in a new direction, but I guess special interest is more important. Sorry this is something that pisses me off sorry to go off topic.

Oh and I can't figure out how the PRT was built in the 70s, I think, yet no one has ever taken that idea anywhere else, truly a gem in mo town.

Quite simply our state is always fighting it out for last place because of one party special interest politics. And, I say that being a member of the party in control, but not agreeing with the conditions here. Like Washington, the ordinary person has little input here and decisions are made based on pork and the economic gains of the ruling group. With out abundant resources, with even adequate leadership we would be among the most prosperous states in the country. What we end up doing is making our rich richer, and everyone else, believing that those in charge are looking out for them, ever more impoverished.

It takes one simple glance at those we elect for Governor and US Senators to see that who really runs this state are elite, super rich energy interests (or their hired hacks) investors and unions, who are actually in bed together
because the union chiefs have been bought off.

Morgantown barely receives any money for roads despite its growth, while parts of WV where nobody lives, with declining populations and industry get big new highways.
