Where did the name Impact come from? From what I recall, I can't think of anything in Montreal that is associated with the teams name.

Well, I'm off to the Jazz Festival! I'm going there to see Dawn Tyler Watson, and I hope I don't get trampled by the Feist fans.

What an incredible show she put on! Absolutely mesmerizing, with her sultry, bluesy voice. A talent to be reckoned with.

I also caught a guitarist by the name of Larry McCray, from Arkansas. Holy crap! Phenomenal!

People were having a wonderful time, despite the weather.

Saw the Nick Waterhouse (from L.A.) show at the Fest tonight. Amazing, amazing show! Fabulous meld of hard rock and pure jazz. Just wonderful.
Unfortunately I don't see a lot of commercial success for this band. A lot of people really hate jazz. There's not much in-between. You either love it or loathe it.
The sax solos were pure magic.
