So VC numbers are in for Montreal, Q1 2021 saw $322M USD raised. I honestly thought it would be more considering the growth funds from other companies raised, but I am guessing that does not count.
I am planning visiting Montreal in future how it compare to Toronto/Vancouver/Calgary in term of transportation, club/bar scene, friendly people, things to do.

Significantly higher than Vancouver and Calgary on all fronts, and in my opinion, even Toronto. Second to NYC in USA/Canada. Don’t let the population figures fool you — it feels much bigger than it is.

We're the best in the country for all fronts honestly. So many things to do, a lot of bars all over core areas of the city (downtown, Le Plateau, Mile-End, Mile-Ex, Rosemont, Villeray, etc..). Now that things are opening up, restaurant and bar scene will thrive and bounce back well.
This made me laugh much harder than it should have
