Did you see what happened on the 13 with people being stuck for hours? That was insane.

They knew the storm was coming and failed to put any snow clearing equipment on that expressway resulting in hundreds of people trapped in their cars overnight. ..unacceptable incompetence

That storm was unbelievable, wasn't it? Sadly, there were fatalities as well, which should never have happened.

I am on the south shore, in Châteauguay, and I heard snowplows rumbling along our street three times during the storm as I was lying on the couch trying to relax and read.

Heard all sorts of nightmare tales on local talk radio about the snow-clearing, or lack thereof.

Wow!

I don't have a working camera at the moment, but on Monday, we could see grass across our street and the exposed rocks on the lawn by the river.

After the storm? Everything was buried, as you know. What a difference, eh?

Those high winds, too! We are lucky we didn't lose our power.

As always, I felt sorry for the wild birds who might have been fooled into thinking spring was here...but they are better forecasters than we humanoids are and they know where to find shelter.
