$1.49L is really high when compared to prices off island that run about 10 cents a liter cheaper and Ontario prices that run about 20 cents a liter cheaper, I think we're getting screwed big time.
Sure glad i'm driving a Yaris instead of a big pickup or SUV.

Yeah, it's $1.37 here in Windsor. While I thought I was getting screwed, you guys are getting it even worse.

At least you've got cheaper, more convienient booze and beer to make it all better.

Interesting topic as I just watched the related reportage and of course the answer to the question regarding Newfoundland's and Labrador's prices being in your ballpark, after having contributed over 800 million barrels of crude to the system from their oil field, was: TRADE AGREEMENTS!

So it would seem that our illustrious pol's who've been charged with negotiating trade deals and at the same time allowing domestic refining capacity to dwindle to nothing, have negotiated us into the freak'n toilet.

We logically think a plethora of natural resources, especially crude stocks, should entitle us to some kind of individual or collective privilege/benefit at the pumps but I guess our politicians have another set of marching orders we know nothing about.

Suffice it to say; all talking heads are predicting a costly summer ahead for commuters.

For the level of rippoff we are having to endure i'm not seeing much in the way of public outcry. i guess every one is resigned to the fact theres nothing we can do about it which is probably true.If i had indoor parking i'd be doing some serious consideration to the pros and cons of an all electric car or if i were younger get back into motorcycles.

At least we can take a look at the Historical Price Charts and avoid buying fuel when the price is at the highest position..
