We made the move from the UK recently & now live in the Lakeshore side of Beaconsfield.. don't speak French (yet) & get by just fine. After a lot of research back home & no reccie visit we made the right choice & absolutely LOVE the area. My daughter is at the local high school and my son goes to Christmas Park Elementary (English Board)which is 50/50 English French days.
It's been a few months since you posted, how are you getting on?
