ok was in Montreal October 2011 for a few days, wife and I had a great time. Planning a trip for 3 nights again in September. I'm pretty sure I made a couple of traffic mistakes up there last time, does montreal mail these traffic cam tickets to the U.S.? I am in CT, never receieved anything, don't want any surprises at the border crossing next month, especially since we are using the same vehicle, dont' want a red flag to come up at the crossing saying we owe something I never knew we owed.
Any ideas? Does the Canada DMV have a website I can look at to see if anything is outstanding? Just to be clear again, we were not ever pulled over by an officer, just want to be sure there are no surprises. Thanks!
This is not a 100% confirmation I realize but traffic cameras (red lights, speeding, etc.) would have been few and far between in Montreal and in Quebec in general in 2011.
Theres a few long time speed cameras around town, one leading onto the Champlain Bridge, another on the east bound 20 on ile Perrot.
Odd they wouldnt send you any notification of an infraction. What makes you think theres a problem?
I suppose if you did incur a traffic violation you may have the option to pay it at the border, by now it could be very expensive.

It's been almost two years and I know, from the CT forum (hi from an old West Hartford resident), that you moved recently but I'd think you would have gotten it soon after your return home if they'd caught you. I can't guarantee anything, of course, but I don't think that you have anything to worry about. (There's no website that I know of for you to check.)
yes we recently moved from one CT town to another. Definitely would not have been a speeding violation but possibly right on red or cutting it close on a red light. No worries we are going
