how do i get tax back? (2013, home, tax return)

i am from ireland and working in montreal at the moment. i will be going home to ireland in about august and just wondering is there anyway i could get my tax back before i leave? is there a tax office in montreal too?

To make sure we are talking about the same thing.
Are you saying you filed a tax return and are expecting a refund?
If so there is a link on this page All about your tax return to check status of your refund.

If you haven't filed yet then do so right away. Make sure to setup direct deposit to a bank account for your refund. That way if by some chance you have to leave before your refund gets to you , you will be able to withdraw it from a bank machine wherever you are.

...and if you're talking about tax paid in 2012, no you can't. At the beginning of 2013, you'll have to file a return with a foreign address and they can send your $$. Make sure you give your employer an address he'll be able to send your T4 to.
