Actually Missoula is more of the liberal capitol of Montana. My uncle lives in Alabama and he makes fun of me for saying 'pop' so I guess it can go both ways. We moved here about 5 years ago. I like it well enough I suppose. Missoula and Bozeman are more fun but they are too crowded for my tastes. And living here they are only a few hours away so we can make a day trip to either one fairly easily. The central location is pretty nice. Sweetinmt is right in that we have clicks. And a lot of goverment workers who always tend to be a bit strange no matter which state you go to. Your kids are going to be in high school in a few years and although my son hasn't hit that age yet, we prefer Capital High over Helena High School. I love the Sunhaven subdivision but my family likes our house and I am out-voted on moving over that way. Never heard of fastpitch but there is a base ball field out by Sunhaven, of course!! Coincendense there. We also lived in Grand Forks, ND which I liked but didn't find suitable work there and it is FLATTER than a PANCAKE.
