Wages are very low in Billings- I made less than 30k as a Chemist (with a degree and good experience) when I lived there a few years back.

There are a couple of fun places to hang out on Montana Avenue-and skiing at Red Lodge can be pretty good if you are into that kind of thing-will give you something to do in the Winter.

You are close to the mountains (say an hour) but not in them the Beartooths are one of the most scenic in the whole Rocky Mountains IMO

I liked Billings, so did my Wife. BTW she hated Corpus Christi when she lived there.-being a FL native she thought the beaches were filthy.

Good information. Thanks for sharing, and yes the beaches are pathetic here compared to the FL Panhandle.
