Happy Memorial Day
Good wishes to all the neighbors.
We are attending our number three's commissioning next month so this memorial day is very special.

Coffee's on. Nice an hot, strong.

Up and running early. Gotta go into that town place again today. Does it never end???? Timbers laying here wagging her tail. Funny part of that is, she's sound asleep. Must be dreaming. It's getting pretty bad when you get up before the dog does.

It actually stopped raining here. I can't believe it. Doesn't mean it stopped flooding. The next couple of days are supposed to warm up so now we have to worry about snowpack showing up in the yard. Sure is ruining the fishing.

At the dog show this weekend, one of our Army veterans brought a flag and two combat helmets and set them out as our own little memorial. Funny how the simple ones are the most effective.

Coffee's on.

Going to be some thick cut side pork and french toast this morning.

Don't remember the exact number they used yesterday on the news but it's been over 200 days since we had a day in the 70's. Felt kind of nice.

Got interviewed by a TV news team yesterday. I was working my way along the river on my 4 wheeler. I was checking the flood conditions and was stopped. The guy said he was from KOTA Territory News out of Rapid City and he asked me if I fished this River. I told him, yeah, sometimes, only about 2 or 3 times a week. So he asked me if he could interview me about fishing along the Tongue River.

I'll be signing autographs after 5.

EH, I love that!!
Mostly everyone here has a new swimming pool in their basement, by some miracle maybe because our house is 50 years old it was built up high and dry above the water table so, so far so good.
Poor farmers are having a big ole problem. Very green over here but the mud!
