This isn't Fox News where spin is in and people are benefiting off "gotcha" biased points - this is an online forum where people discuss things, and most of the time it's in a civil matter. I have no beef with you, but you seem to be very sporadic in your talking points. Every time someone answers one of your questions, you try to spin it in a different direction instead of accepting the answer (which you asked for) or replying to it with your thoughts on the matter. I think it would benefit all if you tried to stay on tract with the conversation. You can ask me any question you want about Mississippi, and I'll be glad to answer, but I would appreciate it if you would take it for what it is instead of going off on some tangent and playing "gotcha" games. This is meant in no disrespect to you, just trying to make this conversation worth reading to those who find it.

You are smarter than that. You know gun control laws vary by state, and some are less restrictive than others.

The question was "What are you happy about as a Mississippian?"

I'm sorry if, as a Mississippian, you aren't happy about the less restrictive gun control laws. Maybe you can find other things to be happy about.

No, it isn't. Not if the thread is about freedom being part of happiness, which is what many in this discussion seem to believe.

Freedom is NOT the right to give the finger to those around you. That kind of freedom isn't a meaningful freedom and may have been fine for Bobby Mcgee, but having nothing left to lose - nothing worth protecting - is the last step before desperation. Desperation is a plague on society.

We live in a society. That means responsibilities to others as well. Part of that responsibility is not placing the lives of others at unreasonable risk through deliberate actions or neglect. If you are sick, stay the hell at home;

if you refuse to protect yourself against very dangerous diseases the rest of us have agreed worthwhile to protect against, then you most definitely have the right AND freedom to remove yourself from our presence. What you do NOT have the right to do is to place yourself at unreasonable risk then walk amongst us. The "freedom" you are espousing is tantamount to the freedom to don an explosive vest and go shopping at the mall.

You are very very confused and should really research this stuff before you talk about it. You have a detrimental group think about vaccines and you really need to be de-briefed on them.

First of all, I'm not making an argument or debate with you because you obviously have preconcieved notions about what vaccines are and how they work. Second, I never brought it up. so no need to discuss anything of that nature with you. Now be a good lab rat and go get your
