After that freak blizzard we had last April, we deserve an easy winter.

Not an easy winter on the grass, though. No snow to insulate it. Plus, at this rate we may be looking at a drought this spring and summer. I wouldn't mind the milder temps if it meant more snowy days in between. But this is just drabby. Stick season isn't very appealing when it lasts so long lol.

Was playing hockey on the 2nd. The ice started cracking real bad. Just hasn't been cold enough to make it very secure. A year ago it'd be frozen solid.

Did you skate at Palace, North Dale, or Phalen? Ask as they are St Paul's refrigerated ones.

We came up 35 past Clear Lake in Washington Co. today and couldn’t believe all the vehicles out on the ice. Not me during a winter that’s been this warm!

I'm not! My phone said -15. I might've been a few miles north of the cities at that time but surely it wasn't much higher?

"Tropical". Heh. You all are so funny.

I'm quite glad my first January has been a slightly warmer one. You all forget how quickly it got cold in November, before it began to warm up in mid-December.

Condolences to those in the Cities...I traveled there this weekend to visit with some family from out of town. So sad to see how little snow and ice there is. It felt wrong.
