Sure, as long as Wisconsin flips the bill for all of the electricity that would be needed to make all of that ice.

I don't think you two are thinking this through properly. An ice wall that is 7 miles high would likely be required to be constructed to standards set by the Universal Building Code and perhaps be at least 3 to 4 miles wide at the base. Ain't no way that thing is going to melt overnight. Heck, we got piles of parking lot snow hanging around here somewhere that are operating as ski-hills still.

Holy cow, that is insane! The humidity is in record territory in Minnesota. Maybe a taste as to what the planet Venus feels like.

It only feels like 106F in nice, cool Missouri

Missouri does not have a very Midwest like climate, though.

That's horrid. Texas is bad enough. I heard on the news this morning that the dew point in Minneapolis was 86 degrees which is equivalent to the Brazilian Rain Forest. We have dew points in the 70s, but I can't imagine how awful 86 would be.

It's only 99 here in my spot in Texas, feels like 102 and the dew point is 67.

I think it does. But I live north of I-80 though. Southern Missouri you can say has kind of a southern climate. I think northern Missouri has more in common with southern Minnesota than it does with Arkansas or Mississippi. From I-80 to I-94 I consider Midwest.

Do you mean I-70? I-80 runs through Iowa, not Missouri.
