Hello,

I just moved to MN a few months ago and haven't had to commute beyond St.Paul. But now I have to commute to Minnetonka from Woodbury . Can someone please tell me how bad this commute is - esp. during rush hour? I know 94W is pretty bad during rush hour from Woodbury to St. Paul - so I am wondering how bad it's going to be to Minnetonka, even if I take 494W... Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I would look into moving ASAP or finding a new job.

I use to travel from SSP to the far west side of bloomingotn and getting to work was never too bad, but coming home, yuck. and if you have to cross the 494 bridge, holy crap no thanks. give yourself at minimum an hour

It takes me about 45 mins to an hour in non-rush to get from Mtka to Woodbury. I'd imagine you'd want to give yourself an hour and a half to be on the safe side. I agree with Tim - you might want to consider a new job or moving.

Sigh! Just turned down the job. I would rather keep looking than spend 2 hours in my car every day. Thanks for the responses, folks!

Good choice-I was going to say that when the Crosstown is done that will cut your commute time SOME, maybe 15 minutes but that won't be for several years. It is tough commuting from one side of the cities to the other no matter where you are.
