Hi, my wife and I are moving to St. Paul from the Chicago area as she is pursuing her second undergrad degree at St. Kate's. I have been fervently applying to jobs, and have yet to have any luck. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on short-term housing or places to best look for sublets outside of Craiglist as we plan to move toward the end of this month before she starts term and I don't think rental companies will take us on as tenants as I currently do not have a job. Any suggestions on places that would be good options or potentially places that would accept us without me having a steady income would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Check with the college. Often they have lists for people like you. You could also see if she could be a Staff Resident in a dorm or something. That typically comes with a free apartment.
