BorderGirl, did you end up getting the job? I'm relocating to Eden Prairie after a phone interview also and I start later this month. I'm still debating on where to move. Eden Prairie would be super convenient but all the apartments there seem to be more than I'd want to pay. Plus, I'd really like it if garage parking was included if the rent is $950 for a 1 bedroom! Also, I'm moving from Louisiana and I'm super nervous about driving in the snow...

I ended up not getting the job. I got some canned email saying that they picked someone else. I just wish they would have called me or sent me a personal email since I did the whole background check and everything. I'm going to keep trying moving back to Minnesota but I'll hold off on looking for jobs until January so I can have the holiday vacation I want.

Driving in the snow is okay. My motto for snow driving is always "slow and steady". Leave early, go slow, and you'll get there just fine. I did it for years in a front wheel drive Toyota and this teeny tiny Ford Ranger. Now I cruise through the snow in my Subaru but I still go slow and steady and don't drive like a maniac. Watch out for other drivers and keep a lot of space between you and the car in front of you and you'll be just fine. Good luck on your move!
