My favorite is Kopp's, however I think Northpoint's is great too when it's open.

for years it's been Culvers for me, though Michael's in Madison (not sure if they have any Milw locations?) is good as well.

I had Leon's the first weekend I moved to Milwaukee, however, I wasn't that impressed with it. I guess I should try it again, but I'm skeptical.

I like Kopp's, but I haven't been to Leon's for several years so I should re-test it. Kopp's, however, I have been... waaaaay too many times this year.

I'm probably biased for other reasons though; Karl Kopp has a couple of great restaurants in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Wow, that's surprising. Do they sell frozen custard too?

I like them all, including Gille's. But Leon's on a summer night is the best.
