SEND A THANK YOU CARD for free! Go to www.LetsSayThanks.com pick out a card and Xerox will print and send it to a soldier who is currently serving in Iraq You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

• ASK YOUR BOSS IF YOUR COMPANY CAN GIVE A SMALL DISCOUNT TO A VETERAN SHOWING A VETERANS CARD OR A SERVICE PERSON WITH A MILITARY ID …or if you are a business owner be sure to advertise any Veterans discount you offer. Veterans support those who support them.

VETERANS (COUPONS) Some Veterans are admitted to the VA hospital with nothing-- not even a toothbrush. Others are there for so long they begin to run out of products they brought with them. For a complete list of items they need go to: http://oklahomaamericanveteransnews....emsneeded.html If you watch the sales, at stores that double coupons, many times you can get items for free.

“RE-GIFT” A GIFT FOR VETERANS WHO AREN'T ABLE TO GET A GIFT FOR THEIR LOVED ONES. A HOSPITALIZED AMERICAN VETERAN or a Veteran in a Care Center who is unable to go shopping can find the holidays depressing when they have no gift to give a loved one. Maybe you received a gift from your boss (or mother-in-law) that wasn’t your taste...or maybe you have something in your gift closet that you bought on sale just because it was a great deal.
Gifts can be dropped off at Sportclips, in Tulsa 7 days a week (except Thanksgiving) through December 19th. Your donated gift will be delivered to the Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Hospital so that a Veteran can choose a gift to give from those donated to “The Christmas Store”. Should we be able to collect more than is needed there we will be able to share with the VA care centers.

FURNITURE AND OTHER ITEMS YOU THAT YOU WANT TO DONATE (EVEN CARS AND BOATS) Disabled American Veterans (DAV) 3131 E. Pine helps Veterans with their claims and pensions, widows to get the DIC and children to sign up for school. They pick up donated items then sell them at a yard sale held once a month, raising money for the food pantry, gasoline for the truck that picks up donations, gas to help Vets find a job, food baskets, and for the general fund to operate (utilities and for the one paid employee who works 3 days a week).

CELL PHONES CONVERTED TO PHONE CARDS SOLDIERS OVERSEAS-Blue Star Mothers and Liberty Tax service sell them to purchase phone cards for soldiers overseas!

A SIMPLE THANK YOU TO VETERANS-THE GRATITUDE CAMPAIGN-Even kids too small to talk can do this, to convey thanks to our Veterans.

Got spare food coupons? and want to assist military families in need? Food coupons are honoured and they are still 'good' for an additional 6 months beyond their printed expiration date, at all commissaries over-seas. Send them to:

Naval Support Act - Naples
FamilyServiceCenter
Attn: Food Coupon Drive
PSC 817, Box 10
FPO-AE09622

Thank you.
