In NOrth Carolina or Michigan? Actually most people are very nive here I will say that. I do find in just watching local news in Virginia which we are almost on that line. That there is a more mix of people in Virginia which is where my husband works. Our lease is up in July so we try and find a place there.

I will just answer for internet both ways. In Michigan we could onlt get dial up through A&T but that could be different if you look around. For cell phones we had a hard time. If we got a phone that worked in the Thumb which is what that area is called then it wouldn't work well like in Saginaw or Bay City. My husband use to work all over in the thumb and at that time they had Nextell. But we decided because Reese was just at the start of the thumb to get cell coverage that worked better in Saginaw. We had a land line at home anyway. Here we have Media Come that we also have Cable with. It is high speed and okay but the service isn't that great. I think you can get highspeed in Michigan with cable companies to. The issue with Caro and that area is the towers for cells.

I was referring to South Carolina. Not to say there aren't any nice people, but when you move from the north to the south, some have a problem with that.

We need more than dial up for sure. Hubby works in technology and so dial up just won't cut it. Besides, dial up is a waste of money. The web isn't designed for dial up anymore for the most part.

Thanks for all the info everyone. This isn't definate, just checking out options because we're planning to hopefully move by this fall. So all the info is very much appreciated.
