Another beautiful day here in the Ludington/Scottville area. Took my 4 boys out today so they could shoot a few photos and I even got to take one or two as well. (Actually I took about 12, they took a couple hundred I think )

I thought the Swans looked really nice against the deep blue water in the Sable river.

Had to get out in the bright sunshine today with the trusty camera. Driving into Ludington I passed one of the many flags that are always out in town. The way the sun was backlighting the flag made me turn around and try to capture the image.

Love the way the ice forms on one of the breakwalls in Ludington every year.

Turned around from taking the photo above and noticed the little ice "balls" and their shadows. Thought they looked cool.

Yep, we're rural, but how can you not think this is nice?

Some wintry pics from the area in this past week:

Downtown Wyandotte

8 inches of powder was our biggest snowstorm of the year so far

The glitter of the snow can be SO awesome!

Nice. You guys got a lot more down there than we did up here. We only got an additional 2 or 3" in this area.

Here are a couple shots from Kennsington Park. I never realized how challenging it was to shoot a bird, they move so fast and so often. Can't wait to get my new camera Thursday.
