Hi folks,

One of my freinds is a mother of a 9 months girl and our friends told us that some organizations help low income families by providing free food for infants. Do you know any in Michigan –Ann Arbor? I want to help ,,, can you help me helping her ???

Thank you

Oh there absolutely is! The program is called WIC. Log on to the michigan.gov website or just "google" WIC and you should find all of the info you need!
Good Luck!

I don't know if there is a waiting or delay in getting onto WIC, but in the meantime she might check out some of the larger churches in her area. A lot of them have food banks or pantries and might be able to help.

WIC and food stamps. The government provides plenty of free food, free housing to women with children. She also might want to check out child support and get help from the child's father.
